Attendance

Present were: Judge Anderson, Judge Gray, Judge McCoy, Brian Bluth, Richard Callahan, Jennifer Ayers, Joseph Riders, Edward Rymsza, J. Michael Wiley, and Ed Mitchell.

Old Business

Court Website - No report.

Jury Questionnaires - The committee is in place to make recommendations for additions to the questions on the civil jury questionnaires

New Business

New Rule of Civil Procedure - There is a new Rule of Civil Procedure which permits the court to give written copies of the instructions to the jury. This has been previously done in criminal trials. Judge Gray suggested a Law Association committee to make recommendations.

Juvenile Mandatory Plea Colloquy - The Supreme Court has mandated a four page form colloquy for use in juvenile court pleas.

Family Law Committee - A committee of family law practitioners has been formed to meet with the court every other month to discuss issues in family court.

Next Meeting - The next meeting will be May 7, 2012 at noon at the Ross Club.
