Attendance
Present were: Judge Butts, Judge Gray, Court Administrator Kevin Way, Jennifer Ayers, Brian Bluth, Richard Callahan, Robert Cronin, Joseph Rider, Michael Wiley, Jeffrey Yates and Ed Mitchell.
Old Business
- Court Website - The Court website continues to be a work in process.
- Jury Questionnaires - A committee has been appointed to review jury questionnaires and make recommendations to the Court Administrator.
- Court Calendar - The court calendar will be posted on the Law Association website.
New Business
- Judge Muir Memorial - The memorial special session of court in honor of Judge Muir will be August 12, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at the Community Art Center.
- Commonwealth Court Special Session - A special session of the Commonwealth Court will be held in Courtroom No. 1 on September 16, 2011. Commonwealth Court Judges will be in Williamsport on September 15 and 16. Judges will speak in local schools. The Law Association will host a banquet September 15.
- Meeting with Criminal Bar - Judge Butts met with the Criminal Bar on July 25 to discuss procedures to utilize in criminal court.
- Meeting with Magistrate Judges - Judge Butts will meet with the six Magistrate Judges.
Next Meeting
The next meeting will be November 7, 2011 at noon at the Ross Club.
